Although much of the work we carry out at Foley Technologies is industrial in nature – delivering for clients in sectors such as aerospace, automotive and marine – we are also ideally equipped to deliver for clients who want to see their artistic and sculptural concepts brought to life. As well as state of the art equipment and highly experienced technicians, we can offer a promise of quality and consistency underpinned by the fact that every stage of the process is delivered in-house.
When clients come to us we can take whatever they envision and turn it into a reality. If this is just an initial concept to start with we can work with clients to create fully realised 3D plans using our CAD/CAM equipment, operated by highly experienced technicians. Plans of this kind enable the object to be examined from every angle, so the client can make changes and alterations as they wish until arriving at the ideal blueprint.
Once the plan has been approved we offer a range of techniques to turn it into a working reality. Whether the client wants a full sized version or a scale model for display and development purposes, we can create it using three or five axis CNC machining, casting, vacuum forming and tooling. Often we combine two or more of these techniques in order to create a finished product which exactly matches up to the original vision.
We work with the widest possible range of substances, including wood and steel, and can create an initial foam model of a sculpture so the client can adjust before committing to a permanent finished product.
